About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at Qualcomm India Private Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling security mitigation features and developing tools to detect vulnerabilities within our products. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the security posture of our Android-based platforms by working on kernel and user space security features. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to review security designs, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android OS, Linux kernel internals, and embedded programming, with a passion for security and innovation. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields from reputed institutions, with a strong academic record. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or related areas, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Proven expertise in Android OS, Linux kernel internals, embedded programming, and security features is essential. Knowledge of ARMv8/ARMv9 security extensions and fuzzing tools is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to security challenges. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role.
