About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Qualcomm India Private Limited. In this role, you will focus on developing security mitigation features at both kernel and user space levels, ensuring the integrity and safety of our Android-based platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand security design reviews, evaluate potential vulnerabilities, and propose innovative solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the security posture of our products by developing tools to detect vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from a reputed institution, with a strong academic record (good CGPA). Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in software engineering, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. The role requires familiarity with Android OS, Linux kernel internals, and embedded programming. Candidates with knowledge of ARMv8/ARMv9 security extensions, fuzzing tools, and device driver development will be preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing security mitigation features at both kernel and user space levels, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.
