Role Description
As an Android Display Driver Engineer, you will work full-time on-site in Bangalore Urban to develop, implement, and optimize display drivers for Android-based devices. You will be responsible for debugging and resolving display-related software issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with hardware platforms. You will also contribute to ensuring compliance with performance standards while maintaining quality and efficiency in the development process.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Android Display Driver development, debugging, and optimization
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java
- Understanding of display subsystems, frame buffer management, and interface protocols like HDMI, MIPI-DSI, and DisplayPort
- Experience in collaborating with hardware development teams to integrate and validate display drivers on Android platforms
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to debug complex issues and improve system stability
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred
- Experience with Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and familiarity with the full Android development lifecycle is a plus
- Knowledge of kernel-level programming and low-level optimization is an asset
