Role: Android Developer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring an Android Developer to build and maintain Joveo's Android

application — delivering a fast, intuitive mobile experience for job seekers

and hiring professionals on the world's most-used mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop features for Joveo's Android application in Kotlin

- Implement responsive, accessible UI following Material Design guidelines

- Integrate mobile features with backend APIs and real-time data services

- Write unit and instrumented tests to maintain app quality and stability

- Optimize performance, battery usage, and memory footprint

- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in agile cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK

- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store

- Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)

- Familiarity with Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Compose)

- Experience with REST API integration and async data handling (Coroutines, Flow)

- Knowledge of Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
