PearlThoughts is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Android Developer Interns (Kotlin preferred) to join our growing remote team. This opportunity is ideal for freshers and early-stage developers (0–6 months of experience) who want hands-on exposure to real-world Android projects and professional mentorship.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Android mobile applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Kotlin (preferred) or Java.
• Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Debug issues, improve performance, and optimize app functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions.

🛠️ Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Kotlin (preferred) or Java for Android development.
• Understanding of Android SDK, Activities, Fragments, and lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON parsing.
• Knowledge of local storage (Room, SQLite, SharedPreferences).
• Basic understanding of MVVM architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.

🎓 Eligibility

• Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• 0–6 months of Android development experience (academic or personal projects).
• Must have built at least one basic Android application (college project/self-project).
• Genuine interest in mobile app development and emerging Android technologies.

📍 Internship Details

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 1 Month (Unpaid for the first month)
