Primebook, a product of Floydwiz Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is India’s first Android-based laptop designed to empower students, self-learners, creators, coders, and professionals. Founded in 2018 by IIT Delhi alumni, Primebook aims to make computing accessible to India's youth. At the core of Primebook is PrimeOS, a custom Android-based operating system that combines the simplicity of Android with the power of a PC, offering features such as full-screen apps, multitasking, a desktop grade browser, and access to the Prime App Store. Job Title: Android Developer Internship (0 - 1 Years of xp)
Duration: 3 months (permanent offer possible if performance is good)
Location: On-site only, New Delhi
Salary: 15k per month stipend
Role:
At Primebook, we are hiring AI-first Android Developers who can build fast and leverage AI tools to accelerate development. You will work closely with the team, take product ownership and contribute.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to PrimeOS system apps like (App Store, File Manager, Task Manager) etc.
- Take complete ownership and control of assigned projects
- Learn fast and grow your skills while contributing
Requirements:
- 0 - 1 years of experience (freshers welcome)
- Strong Android fundamentals (Java/Kotlin, Android SDK)
- Must have built Android projects (project links required in resume)
- Ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and optimize features
- Strong problem-solving and user-first mindset
- Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) is a plus
- Fast learner with strong execution skills
Good to Have:
- Jetpack (Compose, MVVM) experience is a plus
- Experience using Linux/Ubuntu OS
- Good UI/UX and Product sense
