Overview:
We are hiring an Android Developer for a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and supporting mobile applications on the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, user-centric applications while ensuring code quality and reliability. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mobile technologies and eager to grow their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Android applications
- Work closely with design and backend teams to implement application features
- Integrate mobile apps with external services and APIs
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Perform application testing and troubleshoot technical issues
- Identify bugs and implement fixes to improve app performance
- Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and continuous learning initiatives
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of Java or Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with Android Studio
- Understanding of Android components such as Activities, Fragments, Layouts, and Lifecycle
- Familiarity with RESTful services and JSON data handling
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Exposure to architectural patterns such as MVVM
- Familiarity with Firebase services and local storage options like SQLite or Room
- Awareness of Agile or iterative development practices
Core Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize application performance
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and usability standards
Additional Advantages:
- Hands-on experience with Git workflows
- Portfolio of projects (GitHub or published applications on Play Store)
Experience Required:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Android application development
