We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with strong Automation scripting capabilities to design, develop, and test high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Android development along with automated testing frameworks, and exposure to banking/wealth management products will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications.
- Develop and execute automation scripts for mobile application testing.
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, functional testing, and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and backend teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin/Java.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, UI Automator).
- Experience in writing automation test scripts and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of Wealth Management Products.
- Exposure to performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices.
