Role: Android Developer
Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
Experience: 4–6 years
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (or equivalent)
About the Role:
We are looking for an Android Developer with strong experience in Kotlin and modern Android development. You will work on building scalable, high-performance applications and contribute to architecture, performance, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android applications with high performance and reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver new features
- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and responsiveness
- Debug and resolve production issues
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (added Java knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with Jetpack components, MVVM/Clean architecture, and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin)
- Hands-on with Coroutines, Flow/LiveData, Room, Retrofit
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles (XML or Jetpack Compose)
- Experience with Firebase, Git, and Android Studio
- Knowledge of performance optimization, multithreading, and memory management
- Experience with unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso, MockK) is a plus
- CI/CD and Play Store release experience is a plus
- Familiarity with mobile security best practices
