Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to support a large-scale Open Banking modernization initiative. This role will contribute to native Android delivery focused on UX redesign, reconnect optimization, consent integration, vendor expansion, and production stabilization leading up to Oslo LTS release.
- The engineer will work closely with backend (GraphQL), iOS, web, product, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile experiences within a regulated fintech environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin
- Experience with Jetpack Compose (preferred) or modern Android UI frameworks
- Experience building and shipping production-grade Android applications
- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of OAuth and secure consent/authentication flows
- Experience working in CI/CD environments
- Strong debugging and regression mitigation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries
- Exposure to Open Banking integrations
- Experience building reconnect/session restoration flows
- Familiarity with modular Android architecture
- Experience handling deep linking and push notification systems
- Performance profiling and optimization experience
- Experience working in milestone-driven, cross-functional programs
