Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable mobile apps using modern Android technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Identify and fix bugs, improve app performance
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app architecture
- Understanding of MVVM/MVC architecture patterns
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation)
- Knowledge of Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications)
- Experience publishing apps on Google Play Store
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines
