Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Andela. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop cloud-based applications using modern technologies and best practices - Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation - Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud engineering practices Requirements: - Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js) - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost optimization principles - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
