About the company

Anchor Packaging is one of North America’s largest thermoform packaging producers and is best known for its award-winning foodservice product designs and custom package capabilities. Founded in 1963, Anchor Packaging LLC has developed innovative solutions to packaging challenges for nearly 60 years. Over that time, Anchor has grown rapidly. In 2020-21 as demand for packaging accelerated, Anchor expanded its domestic production capacity by 30%, adding eight new lines and 100,000 square feet. Anchor offers robust custom design and packaging solution development capabilities. These include small tool flexibility for nimble early-stage development and some of the highest-capacity inline production lines in the world. These high-capacity lines enable us to produce at maximum efficiency, minimizing customer costs. Anchor’s product line capabilities include hot (up to 230 degrees), refrigerated, and ambient temperature protection. Anchor manufactures entirely in the US, producing containers using polypropylene (PP) and PET, two of the most highly recycled plastic packaging materials. Anchor produces at extremely high standards with a scrap rate under 0.5%. Anchor serves customers across multiple channels, including restaurants, retail, supermarkets, convenience, businesses, and education. Anchor is headquartered in St Louis, MO, with production and distribution facilities in Arkansas and Wisconsin. In 2019, Anchor became the first packaging company in Arkansas, home to the majority of our facilities, to be recognized for excellence in on-the-job safety after reaching 5 million man-hours without a lost-time, work-related injury or illness. Today, Anchor employs over 1,000 people and operates over two million square feet of production and distribution facilities.
