Key Responsibilities
- Anchor and host university events, academic functions & cultural programs
- Research, write, and edit scripts in coordination with the editorial team
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and public figures
- Deliver breaking news accurately under time constraints
- Maintain a professional on-screen/on-air presence and voice modulation
- Coordinate with producers, reporters, and technical teams
- Ensure compliance with journalistic ethics and broadcasting standards
- Engage audiences through digital platforms and social media (if required)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong command of language and pronunciation
- Confident camera presence and presentation skills
- Ability to think quickly during live broadcasts
- Good general knowledge and current affairs awareness
- Excellent communication in Punjabi, English & Hindi
- Strong stage presence and voice modulation
