Join the curious. We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Commercial Analytics organization. Reporting to our Senior Manager of Martech & Platform Management, you will focus on development of ingesting data across the organization to process, transform, and deliver to our internal and external stakeholders. What you will do... Work with large datasets, performing data cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Practice good coding techniques including writing unit and integration tests, doing commits and pull requests (Git), etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analysts, marketing, etc.) to understand data requirements to develop scalable, resilient, and maintainable ETL solutions that meet business needs. Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and define data requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure pipelines are successful and data meets quality requirements Assist in monitoring the performance of data pipelines and systems, identifying and resolving issues. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity by developing and maintaining automated data validation processes. Help document data flows, pipelines, and systems for internal knowledge sharing. Ensure ETL pipelines meet quality standards and data quality requirements Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to data engineering. Who you are... 3+ years of experience as a data engineer, with specific experience in developing ETL pipelines Knowledge of data engineering concepts, such as ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing 3+ years of industry experience programming in Java, Python and SQL (or related languages) Experience with version control tools such as Git. Experience working with data orchestration tools such as Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow. Experience using data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau. Familiarity with agile software development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelors or 4-year degree in Computer Science (or related degree) or equivalent industry experience
