Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Anaplan Consultant at Advantra. The Anaplan Consultant will design, build, and optimize Anaplan models to support planning, forecasting, and performance management across multiple industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and translating business requirements, creating model architecture, developing and maintaining modules, lists, and dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and system performance. The person in this role will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other consultants to integrate Anaplan with source systems, test new functionality, and support user training and adoption. The Anaplan Consultant will also help develop best practices, documentation, and reusable assets to enhance Advantra’s planning and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong Anaplan modeling skills, including model design, module development, and dashboard creation
- Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into scalable planning solutions
- Proficiency with data integration concepts, data validation, and working with large data sets
- Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, or operational planning processes
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time
- Familiarity with analytics, AI, or data strategy initiatives in sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, retail, financial services, or the public sector
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics) or equivalent professional experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working independently in a remote environment
- Anaplan certification or formal Anaplan training is highly beneficial
