About The Role
As part of our ongoing transformation, Mitratech is seeking an Analytics Consultant specializing in Business Intelligence and Reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of client implementation projects involving Mitratech's comprehensive enterprise software solutions. Your responsibilities will include configuring software, conducting testing, and providing go-live support to clients. Working under the guidance of the engagement Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in translating client needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of our software products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex data environments, develop innovative reporting solutions, and contribute to the success of our clients' legal and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of extensive experience with database management, particularly in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments. A strong understanding of relational databases, transactional schemas, and star schemas is essential. Proficiency in SQL, including Oracle PL/SQL and T-SQL, is required. Candidates should have experience designing and implementing business analytics reporting solutions, familiarity with SAP Business Objects tools, and the ability to perform database performance tuning. Basic knowledge of data visualization best practices, Java, HTML, and database client software such as TOAD or SQL Developer is also preferred. A relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically expected.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include translating report requirements into efficient data retrieval strategies using SQL queries and stored procedures. You will participate in report requirement design sessions with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical specifications. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to business intelligence and data retrieval will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will create and present design solutions, demos, and reports to stakeholders, including leadership teams. Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met, maintaining high standards of quality, and continuously improving reporting processes are vital aspects of this position.
