Technical Responsibilities
- Knowledge of wet chemical and instrumental analysis methods
- Review and approve SOP changes at vendor and third-party manufacturing locations
- Prepare and update RMPS, PMPS, and process control documents in coordination with internal teams and vendors
- Conduct regular quality checks on market samples to ensure compliance with company standards for composition, packaging, and sensory parameters
- Analyze competitor products and benchmark them against company products
- Stay updated on new quality management systems and industry practices
- Validate external laboratory test results used for routine analysis
- Handle consumer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, FSSAI, HACCP, GLP, and ISO standards
- Understanding of microbiological aspects related to food products
- Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to quality-related issues
- Knowledge of analytical methods for testing raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Understanding of sales and distribution-related quality challenges
- Focus on continuous quality improvement and process enhancement
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Food Technology or Food Science
- Familiarity with product development processes
- Knowledge of packaging technology
- Good professional communication skills in English
Qualification: PhD/ MSc in Analytical/Organic Chemistry
Exp: A minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in FMCG Industry in a similar role.
