Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as:
- HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
- LC-MS/MS
- GC / GC-MS / GC-MS/MS
- Perform method development, validation, and optimization for various matrices (spices, extracts, nutraceuticals).
Conduct analysis for:
- Pesticide residues
- Mycotoxins & contaminants
- Residual solvents
- Active compounds & impurity profiling
- Handle sample preparation techniques including extraction, clean-up (SPE, QuEChERS), and derivatization where required.
- Ensure instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with NABL / ISO 17025 quality systems.
- Prepare and review analytical reports, documentation, and SOPs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for regulatory and client requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- M.Sc. / B.Tech in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry / Food Technology
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC systems (minimum 2 years).
Strong understanding of:
- Chromatographic techniques
- Method validation protocols
- Instrument troubleshooting
- Knowledge of FSSAI / EU / USFDA regulations is an added advantage.
- Experience in spices, food, nutraceuticals labs preferred.
