Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as:  

• HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)  
• LC-MS/MS  
• GC / GC-MS / GC-MS/MS  
• Perform method development, validation, and optimization for various matrices (spices, extracts, nutraceuticals). 

Conduct analysis for:  

• Pesticide residues  
• Mycotoxins & contaminants  
• Residual solvents  
• Active compounds & impurity profiling  
• Handle sample preparation techniques including extraction, clean-up (SPE, QuEChERS), and derivatization where required.  
• Ensure instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. 
• Maintain compliance with NABL / ISO 17025 quality systems.  
• Prepare and review analytical reports, documentation, and SOPs.  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for regulatory and client requirements.  

 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• M.Sc. / B.Tech in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry / Food Technology  
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC systems (minimum 2 years). 

 

Strong understanding of:  

• Chromatographic techniques  
• Method validation protocols  
• Instrument troubleshooting  
• Knowledge of FSSAI / EU / USFDA regulations is an added advantage.  
• Experience in spices, food, nutraceuticals labs preferred.
