Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhanbad for an Analytical Chemist. The role involves conducting laboratory tests on lubricants, fuels, coal, and other materials, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring quality control compliance. Responsibilities also include analyzing test results and preparing detailed reports to inform predictive maintenance strategies. The Analytical Chemist will work closely with the R&D team to develop new methodologies and contribute to operational excellence in industrial diagnostics.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills such as sample preparation, testing procedures, and data interpretation
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate results, identify trends, and recognize potential risks
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and industrial standards
- Experience using Laboratory Equipment such as spectrometers, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments
- Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) processes to improve and develop testing methodologies
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the mining, energy, or industrial sectors is advantageous
