Job Description:
We are looking for an Analyst to join the Transactions & Projects Team, supporting the evaluation and execution of real estate transactions across structured credit (NCDs) and equity strategies. The role will focus on deal underwriting, structuring, documentation, and execution, with exposure to asset-backed credit opportunities, pre-leased acquisitions, under-construction assets, and leasing-driven value creation, along with visibility into post-acquisition asset performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Underwriting & Financial Modelling
- Build and maintain financial models across:
- Structured credit / NCD transactions (primary focus)
- Pre-leased commercial acquisitions
- Under-construction / special situations
- Prepare & analyze cash flows, IRR, yield, and sensitivities
Structured Credit / NCD Transactions
- Evaluate asset-backed and cash flow-backed opportunities
- Assess collateral, cash flow visibility, and counterparty strength
- Support structuring of coupon, tenure, covenants, escrow, and repayment mechanisms
Transaction Execution & Documentation
- Support end-to-end deal lifecycle
- Assist in preparation/review of transaction documents
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial advisors
- Manage data rooms and diligence trackers
Leasing & Commercial Analysis
- Evaluate lease structures and rental assumptions
- Analyze tenant covenants and leasing risks
- Support leasing-led value creation strategies in acquisitions
Post-Acquisition Tracking & Asset Management Interface
- Track performance of closed deals vs underwriting
- Monitor covenant compliance (for NCDs)
- Support transition into asset management and ongoing reporting
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, consulting, real estate, NBFCs, or credit underwriting
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills (mandatory)
- Understanding of real estate and/or debt instruments preferred
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
