Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems to support Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and Vendor Management functions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in analyzing supply chain data, inventory optimization, vendor performance management, and creating actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
The role requires the ability to work with large datasets, develop dashboards and reports, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making across procurement, inventory planning, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Extract, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reports for Supply Chain KPIs.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory, procurement, and supply chain performance issues.
- Provide data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Create and maintain KPI scorecards and executive-level reports.
Inventory Management & Optimization
- Analyze inventory levels, stock movements, and consumption patterns.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess stock and stock-out situations.
- Monitor inventory health, aging inventory, safety stock, reorder points, and lead times.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.
- Develop forecasting and replenishment analysis models using historical sales and inventory data.
Vendor Management & Procurement Analytics
- Analyze vendor performance based on delivery timelines, service levels, quality, and pricing.
- Create vendor scorecards and performance monitoring dashboards.
- Support procurement teams with spend analysis and supplier evaluation.
- Track purchase orders, open orders, lead times, and vendor compliance metrics.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen supplier performance and procurement efficiency.
Supply Chain Analytics
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics including:
- Fill Rate
- OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
- Inventory Turnover
- Forecast Accuracy
- Stock Availability
- Procurement Cycle Time
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and planning teams to improve operational efficiency.
ERP & Process Improvement
- Work with ERP systems to extract and validate business data.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Participate in process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ERP enhancements and reporting requirements.
