Cerberus Capital Management is seeking an Analyst/ Sr. Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting team. As an Analyst or Sr. Analyst, you will prepare and coordinate regulatory reporting filings. You will also enable the automation of data management workflows working closely with business subject matter experts and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the various data components within our SAP Business Objects proprietary Datawarehouse
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to obtain data for regulatory filings
- Prepare regulatory filings with multiple government agencies including Form PF, ADV, Treasury forms, Canadian filings, Lenders Licenses, Regulation D
- Research new regulatory developments and reporting requirements
- Contribute to projects and automation initiatives by streamlining the internal workflows of Regulatory Reporting processes
- Leverage various technology platforms to transition monthly and quarterly tasks away from Excel files
- Perform ad-hoc projects as needed
Key Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a regulatory reporting role with preferred exposure to automation projects and information technology improvement efforts or experience working with data and information systems for a financial services/asset management company
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for proactively learning new systems and tools
- Must be analytical, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
- Must have intermediate to advanced excel skills; macro experience is preferred
- Experience with Accounting preferred but not required
