Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Analyst / Senior Analyst for our Gurugram, Chennai, or Mumbai offices with strong experience in project financing within the infrastructure sector. The role focuses on evaluating credit risks for infrastructure projects—primarily in energy (renewables, conventional, transmission, PSPs) and transport (roads, ports, airports)—through a deep understanding of project finance structures.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed project finance analysis, including assessment of cash flows, financial models, covenants, and risk mitigation structures
- Evaluating the creditworthiness of infrastructure projects at various stages—under construction, operational, and refinancing
- Preparing comprehensive rating notes, sector research, and credit opinions
- Tracking market developments, regulatory changes, and sectoral trends in infrastructure
- Engaging with sponsors, lenders, and investors to gather insights and validate assumptions
- Presenting analytical findings to internal committees and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 1 to 6 years of relevant experience in project finance, credit analysis, or related domains
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and financial modeling
- Proficiency in research, data interpretation, and report writing
- Excellent analytical capability, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage client interactions
- Familiarity with market trends, infrastructure sector dynamics, and structured finance concepts
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certifications like CFA, CA, or equivalent are an added advantage
- Prior experience in credit ratings, project finance, or investment analysis is preferred
