Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Control Room & Governance (CRG)
- Support implementation and monitoring of global compliance policies across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions
- Conduct regulatory research related to positions, holdings, and trading activity across US, UK, EU, Japan, and other markets
- Assist in preparation and review of regulatory filings involving long, short, and ownership reporting
- Apply data analytics techniques (statistical analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, etc.) to identify compliance risks and trends
- Use data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms) to build dashboards and reporting insights
- Assist in monitoring potential material non-public information (MNPI) risks through analysis of research and external expert interactions
- Support ongoing regulatory change implementation and firm-wide compliance initiatives
- Contribute to long-term projects aimed at enhancing compliance controls and infrastructure
- Trade Monitoring
- Monitor pre-trade and post-trade activities across instruments such as equities, options, futures, and ETFs
- Perform detailed analysis of firm positions to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements
- Assist in regulatory reporting and filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Support trade surveillance and monitoring of restricted lists, short sale restrictions, and market events
- Partner with front office teams for trade reviews, approvals, and compliance clarifications
- Assist in regulatory audits, exams, and new product or fund launches
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing compliance workflows and monitoring frameworks
- Collaborate with technology teams on automation and system improvements for compliance controls
- Participate in projects involving design and development of compliance tools and dashboards

Additional Information
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance / MBA (Finance or related specialization preferred)
- Up to 2 years of experience in financial services, investment operations, compliance, or related areas
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA qualification (completed or pursuing) is an advantage
- Exposure to capital markets, trading operations, or regulatory reporting is beneficial
- Experience with data analytics or visualization tools (Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar) is a plus
