Job Highlights 'This position will support the development of SAP technical objects (RICEFW) for requirements coming from different functional streams.
The position will be responsible for resolving incidents incl. development, supporting of projects (need based).
- Perform ABAP developments as part of projects and also regular support requests
- Implement and deploy SAP UI5 applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through SQL trace, runtime analysis, code optimization and other performance enhancing measures
- Provide 2nd level support for production issues, participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure the relevant development issues do not re-occur.
- Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables .
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical designs, configurations, and change logs
- Follow the ChaRM (Change and Release Management) process of LANXESS to ensure development, transport and changes adhere to company guidelines
- Where required communicate with SAP and partners to resolve technical issues (like raising and resolving OSS incidents)
- Collaborate with other IT teams such as SAP Basis, SAP Authorization, SAP Functional Streams, etc. to ensure timely deliverables of development objects
Experience / Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, Web Dynpro for ABAP
- SAP Adobe Form Development and Customization
- Written and oral knowledge of English language
- IT Graduate with experience in SAP ABAP Technical Development and proficiency in English language
