Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Analyst to operate the Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) at our laboratory in Bhubaneswar
. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting material analysis, ensuring accurate calibration of the spectrometer, managing sample preparation, maintaining equipment in accordance with quality standards, and reporting results in compliance with laboratory protocols. This is an on-site role, requiring strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Optical Emission Spectroscopy operation, calibration, and maintenance
- Experience in sample preparation and material testing techniques
- Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail for accurate data interpretation
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Prior experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory or similar environment is an advantage
- Relevant educational background in Material Science, Chemistry, or Engineering
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with safety protocols and laboratory best practices
