KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Support KLA’s global operations finance teams by preparing analysis and reports, following established policies and procedures, and helping ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Contribute to KLA-India’s innovation culture by identifying improvement opportunities within finance shared services (process, automation, and standardization) and supporting implementation to improve efficiency and quality.
- Supporting the Cost Accounting Manager in all SAP Integration projects
- Perform and support product costing and inventory accounting activities end-to-end as assigned (including reconciliations, journal support, and period close tasks) by getting the knowledge transfer from Wipro team and internal stakeholders and perform without any issues independently
- Follow global cost and inventory accounting policies and SOX controls; maintain evidence, complete checklists, and escalate exceptions/risks to the process owner/manager.
- Work with Division Accounting & Finance and Operations teams to identify variances/anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with SAP IT/Finance teams to troubleshoot SAP reporting issues related to standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting; validate fixes and confirm output accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives (including AI/analytics pilots) by preparing data, testing solutions, updating SOPs, and tracking benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
- B. Com, semi-qualified/qualified professional (CA/ICWAI) with minimum 10+ years of overall experience.
- Experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting module preferred.
- Fair understanding of US-GAAP.
- Proven track record of handling Ops/revenue accounting activities, driving process improvement, and implementing financial systems, processes and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed team.
