Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai for an Analyst (Microbiologist). The Analyst (Microbiologist) will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing and analysis, maintaining the sterility of the laboratory environment, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for microbial contamination, preparing detailed reports, and providing technical insights. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards is a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in microbiological techniques such as microbial culture, identification, and testing
- Proficiency in sterility testing, microbial enumeration, and environmental monitoring
- Familiarity with cGMP, US FDA, EDMF, and COS norms compliance
- Ability to analyze results and document findings in detailed reports
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to ensure high-quality outputs
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental teamwork
