What we are looking for
We're looking for an Analyst to join our Information & Delivery team. This role sits at the
intersection of operations and technology, supporting our data acquisition platform by ensuring
seamless data retrieval, processing, and source management.
You'll work with web-based systems, troubleshoot authentication challenges, analyze data using
SQL, write lightweight automation scripts in Node.js, and support both manual and automated
operational workflows.
While MeasureOne continuously enhances its automation capabilities, certain data acquisition
processes still require manual intervention. You'll play a critical role in executing these manual
retrievals, monitoring automated workflows, resolving operational issues, and partnering with
Engineering to identify and implement future automation opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with data, and
taking a hands-on approach to improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced,
technology-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing
Data Acquisition & Manual Retrieval
- Perform manual data retrieval using internal web scraping tools and web-based systems for sources that are not yet automated.
- Execute manual workflows to acquire consumer-permissioned data while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor automated retrieval jobs and intervene with manual retrieval whenever automation fails or is unavailable.
- Handle multi-factor authentication (MFA), CAPTCHA, OTP, security questions, and credential management during manual and automated retrieval processes.
- Troubleshoot data retrieval failures and coordinate with Engineering to identify automation opportunities.
Data Source Management
- Add, configure, and maintain new data sources within the internal platform.
- Identify and resolve login, accessibility, and connectivity issues across multiple websites.
- Maintain documentation for newly onboarded data sources and operational procedures.
Document Processing & Quality Assurance
- Classify, categorize, and tag retrieved documents using internal tools.
- Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Write, test, and validate JSON parsers for new document formats.
- Troubleshoot parser failures and refine extraction rules for improved accuracy.
- Monitor automated document processing pipelines and resolve processing failures.
Technical Operations
- Use SQL to extract, analyze, and validate operational data to determine processing scope and troubleshoot issues.
- Write lightweight Node.js scripts for simple web scraping, browser automation, and pre-navigation tasks.
- Support both automated and manual operational workflows to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to improve operational efficiency and increase automation coverage.
Security & Compliance
- Conduct periodic audits of login credentials and authentication workflows.
- Troubleshoot authentication failures involving MFA, OAuth, SSO, and session management.
- Identify and report security vulnerabilities or access-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal security and operational standards.
Skills you need in order to succeed in this role.
- 2–4 years of experience as an Analyst in Technical Operations, Data Operations,
- Information & Operations, or a similar technical operations environment.
- Basic SQL skills to query, extract, and analyze data.
- Basic Node.js knowledge for simple automation or web-scraping scripts.
- Experience with manual data retrieval and web-based operational workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Comfortable working in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
- A collaborative, hands-on mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
