Role
Work closely with the clients in supporting them through various stages in the life cycle of an investment transaction across multiple credit and alternative asset classes –loan portfolios, securitisations and other structured credit products, specialty financing and real estate. The role would involve working on one or more of the following:
- Create credible, flexible, transparent financial models for periodic third-party valuations for alternative investment firms. This includes developing models from scratch and running sensitivities and scenarios.
- Extract relevant data from information memoranda, loan tapes, rent rolls, rating agency reports, or credit agreements as required by clients or for modelling purposes.
- Analyse the historical portfolio performance data, identify market benchmarks and gather insights to run the valuations.
- Present the valuation outputs (either on Excel or set-up on Oxane’s valuation platform) to clients, investors and auditors on calls.
- Provide support for asset management reporting, post-deal analysis and business planning and any ad-hoc analytics for portfolio monitoring, surveillance, and reporting.
- Work as an extended team of clients on portfolio underwriting which includes creating financial models from scratch, modelling for different scenarios, running sensitivities, and analytics. Assist in the preparation of investment summaries and credit memos
Requirements
- High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; ability to write VBA/python code is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and a logical thought process to analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet client deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure to meet deadlines
