Analyst - Business Finance & Operations
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Experience: 1-3 years
Location: New Delhi (WFH can be allowed for candidates with Base Location as Delhi)
Shift : US Shift (10 PM IST - 6 AM IST)

About the Role
We're looking for a curious, analytical, and highly driven Financial Analyst to support one of our fast-growing US-based clients.
This is not a traditional finance role.
You'll work at the intersection of financial analysis, business operations, reporting, and problem-solving, supporting leadership with data-driven insights while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Every day will be different. Along with recurring financial reporting, you'll be expected to take ownership of ad hoc analyses, investigate business issues, improve reporting processes, and support cross-functional teams with critical operational and financial information.
Working Hours: US Shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM IST)
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Business Reporting
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business and financial performance.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management reports for leadership.
- Track operational and financial KPIs and highlight trends, variances, and exceptions.
- Reconcile financial and operational data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Support business decisions through financial and operational analysis.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to answer business questions.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Business Operations Support
- Work closely with finance, operations, and client teams to support day-to-day business activities.
- Coordinate recurring reporting activities and maintain business trackers.
- Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending better ways of working.
- Assist leadership with special projects and time-sensitive business initiatives.
Startup & Cross-Functional Projects
- Take ownership of multiple ad hoc assignments simultaneously.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Collaborate across teams to solve operational and financial challenges.
- Support new initiatives as the business scales and evolves.

Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Charts)
- Google Sheets
- Microsoft PowerPoint & Word
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or Python is an added advantage
