Role Description The Analyst role at VIGNAN UNIVERSITY is a full-time, on-site position based in Guntur. The Analyst will collect, organize, and analyze academic and operational data to support decision-making across departments. Daily tasks include preparing reports and dashboards, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying trends that can improve academic programs, institutional processes, and resource utilization. The role involves collaborating with faculty, administrative staff, and leadership to understand information needs, validating data for accuracy, and presenting clear insights and recommendations. The Analyst may also assist in quality assurance activities, accreditation support, and process improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data collection, validation, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools (such as Excel, statistical software, or BI tools) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or experience in educational analytics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with higher education processes, quality assurance, or accreditation frameworks is beneficial.
- Commitment to ethical data handling, confidentiality, and continuous learning in analytical methods and tools.
