FinLaxmi answers one question properly: how much should you invest, and where. You put in your real numbers and an engine tests your plan against 250 different market futures before it tells you anything. That engine is about 450,000 connected formulas. It is careful, it has been checked line by line, and it is still capable of being wrong in ways nobody has noticed yet. That is what this job is about.
What you would actually do
You try to break it. You put numbers into the planner and look hard at what comes back, hunting for the places where the answer does not make sense. Then you write down exactly what you did so someone can reproduce it.
Most of what you find will not be a crash. It will be quieter than that: a number that moves the wrong way, two screens that disagree, an answer that is technically right but would mislead a real person about their own money.
Why it matters
People will make decisions about their savings based on what this thing tells them. A number that is off by a little, in the wrong place, is worse than no number at all. You are the person who finds it before they do.
Who this suits
You do not need a finance degree and you do not need to code. You need to be comfortable with numbers, and you need to be the kind of stubborn where "that looks a bit odd" turns into forty minutes of finding out why. If you have ever argued with a spreadsheet and won, this is your job.
