For our laboratory team in Falta, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Analyst.
About the role:
In this role, you will support laboratory and production quality activities by performing analyses, monitoring product quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant. You will work closely with Operations, Plant Management, and other stakeholders to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations.
Your expertise and analytical mindset will contribute to maintaining high product quality standards, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring safe and compliant laboratory practices.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing standard analyses of samples from production plants and raw materials received from suppliers.
- Monitoring product quality, analyzing deviations, and reporting findings to Operations.
- Reporting specification deviations and providing recommendations regarding potential process adjustments.
- Conducting analyses of finished products in accordance with standard procedures and quality requirements.
- Executing customer-requested analyses based on provided specifications and established testing methods.
- Identifying trends related to product quality and carrying out additional testing where required.
- Preparing laboratory reports and documenting analysis data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supporting customer complaint investigations through sample testing, analysis, comparison of results, and reporting of findings.
- Assisting with application-related testing activities, including alternative raw materials, additives, production variables, and alternative recipes.
- Supporting preventive maintenance activities and reporting equipment malfunctions to ensure reliable laboratory operations.
- Assisting contractors during repair activities and ensuring compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Preparing, labeling, and dispatching customer samples in line with customer requests and internal procedures.
- Participating in emergency response activities as required.
- Ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining high housekeeping standards and acting as a role model within the laboratory environment.
About you:
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in laboratory analysis and quality control processes is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with a structured and safety-focused approach to work.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and responsible attitude.
