Key Responsibilities – Analyst (Equity Advisory)
Transaction Execution Support
- Assist in execution of equity fund-raising transactions including private equity, venture capital, and growth capital
- Support senior team members in managing deal processes from pitch to closure
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress of mandates
Financial Modeling & Valuation
- Build and maintain financial models including operating models and valuation models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate investment opportunities
- Support valuation analysis and assist in preparing investment recommendations
Industry & Market Research
- Conduct in-depth research on sectors, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Track developments in private equity and venture capital markets
- Identify potential investors and comparable transactions
Pitchbooks & Investor Presentations
- Prepare pitchbooks, investor presentations, teasers, and information memorandums (IMs)
- Develop financial summaries, charts, and business overviews
- Ensure high-quality and error-free presentation materials
Due Diligence & Data Room Management
- Support financial and commercial due diligence processes
- Assist in managing virtual data rooms and organizing documentation
- Track investor queries and ensure timely sharing of information
Financial Statement Analysis
- Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operating metrics
- Identify trends, risks, and value drivers in business performance
- Support preparation of financial summaries for investor evaluation
Investor & Client Coordination
- Assist in communication with investors, clients, and advisors
- Support scheduling of meetings, calls, and management presentations
- Track investor feedback and follow-ups
Pipeline Tracking & MIS
- Maintain internal databases and track deal pipeline, timelines, and milestones
- Prepare periodic reports and updates for senior team members
- Ensure accurate documentation of deal progress
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Stay updated on SEBI regulations and transaction guidelines
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (or pursuing) from a reputed institution
- 0–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity advisory, consulting, or transaction advisory
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
