Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Control Room & Governance
- Support front-office trading teams by conducting research on positions, regulations, and asset classes across global jurisdictions.
- Assist with regulatory filings and reporting obligations related to ownership disclosures and position reporting across the US, UK, EU, Japan, and other markets.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Monitor and implement compliance controls to ensure adherence to global regulations.
- Review research interactions with external experts and consultants to identify potential material non-public information risks.
- Contribute to long-term compliance and regulatory enhancement projects.
Trade Reporting
- Review reports related to trading activities and support regulatory reporting obligations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings involving trade and position data analysis.
- Support ownership disclosure reporting, including filings related to the Americas region and US regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technology and analytics teams to improve reporting processes and controls.
- Assist in developing and refining compliance policies and procedures.
Compliance Testing
- Develop an understanding of the firm’s structure, business activities, internal controls, and regulatory framework.
- Conduct periodic testing of compliance processes and document findings in detail.
- Analyze operational and compliance data to identify potential control gaps and process improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Operations, Front Office, HR, and Technology.
- Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders and management teams.

Additional Information
Candidate Profile
The Ideal Candidate Should Have
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- 0–2 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk advisory, business process consulting, or internal controls within the financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of investment management, hedge funds, securities regulations, and financial instruments
- Experience preparing risk assessments and formal reports is preferred
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools is an advantage
