Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Analog Circuit Design role based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing and analyzing analog and mixed-signal circuits, including block-level specification, transistor-level design, and optimization for performance, power, area, and reliability. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing schematics and layouts, running simulations across corners and conditions, performing design verification, and collaborating closely with layout, digital, and verification teams throughout the chip development flow. The engineer will participate in architecture discussions, contribute to design documentation, support design reviews, and assist in resolving silicon validation issues. Day-to-day work includes problem-solving for complex analog design challenges, working within CAD tools and flows, and maintaining alignment with project schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Research for analog and mixed-signal circuit definition, feasibility studies, and design exploration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for schematic entry, circuit simulation, layout interaction, and design signoff workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Graphics for clear presentation of schematics, block diagrams, and technical documentation where visual clarity is needed.
- Strong foundation in analog circuit design concepts such as amplifiers, data converters, PLLs, biasing, noise, matching, and stability.
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor) and SPICE-level simulation, including corner and Monte Carlo analysis.
- 4+ years of professional experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, preferably in product or IP development environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of design blocks from concept to silicon validation.
