Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Varanasi for an Anesthesia and Surgery Assistant. The role involves assisting anesthesiologists in preparing and administering anesthesia, monitoring patients under anesthesia, and supporting surgical procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability and functionality of all surgical and anesthesia equipment, coordinating with the surgical team, and providing critical care support as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort during operations. Maintaining strict adherence to clinical protocols and safety guidelines is essential.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and skills in Anesthesiology and General Anesthesia
- Experience or proficiency in Surgery and surgical assistance
- Understanding and application of principles in Critical Care Medicine
- Background or familiarity with General Medicine as it relates to an operating room environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure surgical setting
- Degree or certification in a related medical field or allied health sciences, such as Operation Theatre Technology or Nursing, is advantageous
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical healthcare practices, and attention to detail during medical procedures
