This role requires a balance of client relationship management, operational oversight, and strategic thinking to ensure services are delivered efficiently and aligned with evolving client business needs.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires candidates to work in IST hours from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM and have a minimum of 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
While this is a remote opportunity open to candidates across India, applicants based in Hyderabad or Bangalore will be preferred, as these are our primary hiring locations.
The consultant will work as part of the Application Managed Services (AMS) / Support team, providing ongoing functional and technical support for Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) and related EPM Cloud applications. The role focuses on ensuring smooth reconciliation processes, resolving production issues, and supporting business users in financial close activities.
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle ARCS including Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching modules
- Monitor and support month-end and period-end reconciliation processes to ensure timely completion
- Resolve issues related to reconciliations, matching rules, data loads, profiles, and automated business rules
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in ARCS configurations, security, reports, and workflow processes
- Support data integration activities between ERP/source systems and ARCS, including validation and reconciliation
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide permanent fixes or workarounds
- Assist in data validation, tie-outs, and discrepancy resolution between source systems and ARCS
- Handle incident tickets, service requests, and minor enhancement requests within SLA timelines
- Support user access, security roles, and application maintenance activities
- Coordinate with technical teams for system issues, enhancements, and integration fixes
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and issue resolution logs
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management)
- Support business users during financial close cycles and audit-related activities
- Participate in shift-based support as required for global clients
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Oracle ARCS / FCCS implementation or support (AMS preferred)
- Hands-on experience in Oracle EPM Cloud support or post-go-live environments
- Exposure to FDM / FDMEE / Data Management tools
- Understanding of reconciliation processes, financial close cycle, and reporting
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.)
- Strong skills in data reconciliation, issue troubleshooting, and analysis
- Exposure to intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial reporting concepts
- Familiarity with Smart View and Financial Reporting tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a client-facing AMS/support environment
