Job Summary:
The senior cybersecurity consultant will independently conduct security risk assessments and similar projects, review risks to the client’s business, and prepare risk assessment reports and other deliverables for cybersecurity and compliance projects for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a project plan, which outlines a project's scope, tasks, milestone dates, deliverables, status, estimate to complete, and allocation of resources.
- Evaluate information / security risk for clients by independently conducting security risk assessments aligned with frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST-CSF, and PCI, etc., and other projects for various industries, small and medium-sized companies, and act as a relationship manager for security and other projects with clients.
- Assist with managing and mentoring consultants, ensuring smooth communications within the project team and other cross-functional teams, and interface with internal / external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with the client’s team, including presentation skills related to the scope, deliverables, and timeline.

- Assist in other security and compliance-related projects as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Certifications – Security+, CISSP, CISA, or PCI QSA (or eligible to sit for that certification).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 6 -8 years related experience or equivalent preferred.
- Cybersecurity Coursework preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Process-driven and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
- Team player with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong and effective content writing and editing accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Internet research.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 USD. The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different titles and levels depending on background and experience. The company reserves the right to offer additional compensation at its discretion, for example, in the form of a discretionary bonus or sales commission.
