Interim Director of Information Technology – Southeast Region




  • The Position

    • The Interim Director of Information Technology will provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight of the IT department, ensuring the successful execution of multiple ongoing projects.
    • Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this leader will manage three direct reports.
    • Acting as the key liaison between the CIO and IT managers, this leader will drive seamless communication, ensure successful project execution, and foster a collaborative, high-performing IT environment. A primary focus will be the implementation of Meditech Expanse EHR.
    • Ideal candidates are seasoned IT leaders with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, execute effectively, and cultivate a team-driven environment. Experience overseeing multiple IT projects, particularly EHR implementations, is highly preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
    • Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • IT leadership experience in an acute care hospital required.

    Compensation Details

    • Compensation Range: $175,000 to $185,000 annually.
    • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
    • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
