About the role:


The Business Development Representative (BDR) will grow Amira Learning’s business, build brand awareness, and impact the futures of students. At Amira Learning, you'll join a team leveraging advanced AI to simplify teachers' workload and accelerate literacy growth through our groundbreaking AIT method.


We are looking for a BDR who is fearless in prospecting and personalized outreach (phone calls and emails). In addition, they will actively seek and employ a growth mindset to understand and improve the BDR organization.


What You Will Do:


  • Perform daily cold calls, send customized emails and build relationships while introducing Amira Learning’s solutions
  • Follow up on all marketing supplied leads in a timely manner
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Take a consultative sales approach by understanding industry trends, the objectives of school districts and individual schools, and how to leverage our offerings to those objectives
  • Partner with Sales Account Executive to help develop and execute strategic plans
  • Utilize Salesforce.com, Salesloft and other tools to accurately forecast and execute strategy
  • Leverages AI in everyday workflows


What We Need:


  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Track record of success as an Outbound BDR preferred
  • Tenacious and resilient in creating relationships with prospective clients, with the ability to nurture those connections
  • Open to receiving feedback and applying that feedback dynamically


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • K-12 teaching/administration experience preferred but not necessary
  • EdTech experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge/usage of AI tools highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Challenger Sales methodology is a plus
  • Desire to grow into a full sales or account management role preferred
