the job:

as amika's influencer + partnerships intern, you will be responsible in assisting the influencer team in community growth inclusive of creator seeding, list building, mailing calendar support + relationship building, brand ambassador and more. you will support executing day-to day responsibilities while working cross-functionally with amika's social, marketing, paid media, creative, operations + accounting teams to ensure all designated assignments are executed + delivered to the relevant team(s).

salary: $16 per hour

location: Brooklyn, NY. 1-2 days a week in office (must be based in + have the right to work in the US)

what you'll do:

• this is a dynamic, hands-on role offering exposure to all facets of influencer marketing - from campaign strategy and sampling initiatives to event execution and retail support.
• assist with influencer discovery and recruitment for campaigns while working to build out amika’s influencer communities
• support team with influencer community initiatives inclusive of events, challenges, mailers and more
• assist with brainstorming, managing and executing mailers, including support with managing design submissions, targeted influencer lists, shipping and tracking results
• support the team with execution of campaigns, product launches and initiatives surrounding amika’s evergreen + new product focuses
• admin support including order fulfillment and tracking, product closet management, etc.
• assist with monthly reporting
• compile competitive research of influencer activations, trends and mailers

must haves:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
• Genuine enthusiasm for the beauty industry and the global market
• Thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that are constantly evolving
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
• Works well in a collaborative setting and is equally effective when working independently
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior experience in influencer marketing a plus
