About the role

Conducting and/or managing investigations, assessments, and expert witness assignments in order to prepare accurate technical reports and repair documents, and occasionally provide expert testimony Managing multiple assignments concurrently Delegating to, mentoring of, and directing other production staff for maximum productivity and profitability Developing repair design solutions for damaged and deteriorated structures Managing the billing process for assigned projects Meeting with existing and prospective clients to coordinate new project opportunities Preparing proposals, fee justifications, and contracts as needed in conjunction with the Team Leader and/or Group Leader Providing internal review of documents (reports, drawings, proposals, etc.) for other group members to ensure accurate, understandable, and consistent production of high-quality documents
