</ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Job Summary</strong></div><div>Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Responsibilities </strong></div><ul>
<li>Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam </li>
<li>Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients</li>
<li>Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure</li>
<li>Draw blood and preparation labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing </li>
<li>Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions</li>
<li>Respond to all lab messages and call back requests</li>
<li>Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations</li>
<li>Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure</li>
<li>Conduct physician referrals as well as service pre-certifications on an as-needed basis</li>
<li>Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures</li>
<li>Maintain complete and accurate documentation</li>
<li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned</li>
</ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div>Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
