As a Software Engineer - Emerging Technologies, you'll play a key role in the continued development of American Express' next-generation digital products and platforms. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and deploying complex, scalable, and secure web applications - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go - Experience with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, or Internet of Things is a plus.
