Software Developer, Infrastructure Engineering

American Express is seeking a Software Developer, Infrastructure Engineering to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure and platform solutions that power American Express' digital experiences and capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business and customer requirements, and then architect and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. This includes deploying and managing containerized workloads, serverless functions, and infrastructure as code using technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will also contribute to improving operational efficiency, reliability, and security of our infrastructure platform through automation, monitoring, and incident response.
