About the role
As an Acquisition Payments & Partnerships Manager on the Merchant Payments team, you will be responsible for the acquisition and onboarding of new merchants to the American Express payments network. This includes evaluating business requirements, facilitating technical integrations, negotiating commercial terms, and driving a seamless end-to-end merchant onboarding experience.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, and Legal to ensure successful implementation and ongoing operational support. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, drive efficiencies, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
