About the role

The Digital Optimization Analyst is responsible for driving and optimizing the digital experience on American Express' owned digital channels. You will be at the intersection of data, design, and technology - utilizing analytics, user testing, and experimentation to continuously improve and enhance the digital experience. In this role, you will: • Analyze user behavior and performance data to identify opportunities to optimize and improve the digital experience • Develop, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses and drive incremental improvements • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design) to plan and implement optimizations • Leverage web analytics tools, heat maps, and other data sources to uncover insights and opportunities • Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in digital optimization and user experience • Collaborate with the broader digital analytics community to share learnings and best practices
